We are an Auto Glass Repair and Replacement company has two branches, one in sunny Nelson situated conveniently close to the CBD and the other in Westport. We have been based in Nelson (84 Vanguard Street, diagonally opposite the New World Supermarket) since 2007 and prior to that operated as a mobile service from a home based office.
Our Owner /Operator Francis is a “hands-on” manager who is supported by a team of very experienced Auto Glaziers and Administration staff who consider no job too big or too small.
We also have our Westport Branch with Andrew Tait managing. He brings experience with the auto industry and customer service, and enjoys looking after customers in the Buller Region. He is a motorsport enthusiast, previously a Nelsonian but now a West Coaster!
We all enjoy seeing customers leave our workshop upon completion of the job, happy with the customer service and quality workmanship they have received from us.
Meet the team
Toby Bowden
I am a proud born and bred local, with experience in the automotive industry. Having recently moved away from 11 years in sales, I am really excited to be moving towards the ownership of Nelson Auto Glass Specialists.
Whilst working with the existing team here I will be continuing to provide the quality workmanship and friendly, prompt customer service you have always known. I am stoked to have also just recently completed a Diploma in Business Management & Leadership.
On a personal front, I am an avid sports fan with my main three sports being Hockey, Golf & Mountain Biking. This is all made possible with my extremely supportive family; partner Polly and 3 amazing kids.

Francis Lagrutta
Francis is proud to be born and bred here in sunny Nelson, with Italian parentage. He has been working in Automotive Glass for 21 years. Francis is a creative problem solver who loves helping clients fix their car windows or solve any glass related problem as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Jason Huisman
Our Foreman Jason knows everything there is to know about auto glass repair and replacement. He regularly does jobs on-site such as trucks, and services the Tasman area and Golden Bay. He’s been working in the industry for over 28 years, and is known for caring about the customer’s vehicle as if it was his own.

Jordan
I have roughly 18 months of auto glass experience and recently completed my apprenticeship. I am proud of my work and am always looking for ways I can improve or learn something new. It’s great to be a part of such a knowledgeable and experienced team. I am interested in all things cars and hands on activities.
Polly
I bring a strong background in administration and customer service to my role, and hold a Diploma in Business Administration. I am motivated to be back at work and support Toby in the smooth running of the business. In my free time, I enjoy quality time with my family, exploring with my two year old son, and travelling when time will allow!
Trish Jordan
Trish has been a part of the Nelson Auto Glass team now for 3 years, bringing a wealth of experience in Customer Service Management. She loves working with people and assisting them over the phone or face to face in the reception/office area. Trish is an enthusiastic cook and gardener and loves to travel, especially in her new caravan!!
